The Body Ready Method® is an evidence-based approach to prenatal preparation and birth support and postnatal recovery, making a difference in the approach to prenatal care and birth support. This comprehensive method prioritizes the mobility, alignement and body awareness in the areas which are key pillars in supporting the optimal balance of your pregnant body: the upper body, the core, the pelvis and the pelvic floor. Body Ready Method® operates under the belief that all aspects of the body are interconnected, and recognizes the importance of addressing not only the pelvis but also the upper body, pelvic floor, core, and movement patterns. 

Incorporating purposeful movements designed to enhance responsiveness, strength, and optimal functionality of these areas during pregnancy yields a plethora of benefits

>> The journey begins with the BRM Assessment, where I delve into the intricacies of your daily life patterns – from walking to breathing – to discern their impact on your body's posture and function. Together, we outline your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum aspirations, pinpointing areas of tightness, weakness, or overwork, along with any compensatory patterns contributing to these imbalances. From there, we collaboratively craft a personalized functional movement and fitness plan to expand your range of motion, cultivating a reflexive and responsive system that optimizes balance and alignment in your tissues and structure.

>Subsequent follow-up pregnancy sessions afford you the opportunity to refine your movement patterns, preparing your body incrementally for birth and postpartum. By prioritizing space and balance, these sessions not only optimize your own functional breathing but also facilitate your baby's ability to assume an optimal position.

>> The dedicated labor start session is designed to enhance overall balance in your body, priming it for the onset of labor. Whether you are facing induction, surpassing your due date, or encountering start-and-stop labor, this session can prove invaluable. This session will also include Spinning Babies techniques for optimally results! 

>Finally, the postpartum session centers on assessing and correcting postural imbalances stemming from activities like sitting, lying, feeding, and carrying your baby. Armed with targeted tools such as pelvic floor and core exercises, you'll embark on a journey of postpartum recovery and restoration.

For comprehensive support, I recommend a series of four sessions: an assessment session during your second trimester, a session in your third trimester, another around your estimated due date, and a final session post-birth. Together, these sessions form a cohesive roadmap to guide you through every stage of your pregnancy journey, ensuring optimal balance and alignment for both you and your baby.
