GROUP CLASSES

My approach

Taking prenatal classes is a wonderful experience for you and your baby, and I am looking forward to sharing these moments with you. You may start prenatal yoga classes at any stage of your pregnancy, but after you have passed the 12-weeks mark. Classes are open to everyone, no yoga experience is necessary. Please, come as you are are :) Wishing to nurture yourself & your pregnancy is more than enough.

Each Women, each pregnancy are unique, for this reason, each participant will do "her Yoga", in her own rhythm, her own possibilities, and her own instinct. The only objective of the class is for you to bliss out :)

The classes are made of pregnant women and are inspired by traditional Hatha Yoga, Iyengar Yoga and Dr Bernadette de Gasquet. In a very warm, serene and caring atmosphere, I will share with you relaxation & visualisation techniques, breathing techniques as well as postures, that you can appply anywhere you like until your baby's birth (and even afterwards).

Practical Info

You may find below a few tips to make your Yoga session the most enjoyable:

  • For your first class, try to arrive 15 minutes in advance, so that I can welcome you and share with you some extra information

  • For all other classes, try to arrive 5 to 10 minutes in advance, in order to settle peacefully and start relaxing.

  • Wear comfortable clothes, that are easy to move in, and not blocking blood flow. No socks needed, classes are followed barefoot.

  • Try to practice with a light stomach (please avoid a heavy meal just before the class)

  • Feel free a take (reusable) bottle of water, in order to hydrate yourself during the class

  • Don't hesitate to inform me if you are under a specific condition (not mentioned in your medical form …) so that I can take it into account for the class (terrible mood swing, lower back pain, itching, etc ... or any other happy pregnancy symptom :) )

  • Yoga mats are available but feel free to bring your own if you prefer

  • Kindly switch off the mobile phones during the class :)

  • No parking spots are available at l'Assise but there are several (paying) parking options along the Avenue de Cour.
